Development Strategies for Biostimulants

4-week online course | 2 hours per week

Next intake begins 4 February 2019

Online Academy

Biostimulants contribute to sustainable high-output, low-input crop production by increasing a crop’s tolerance to diseases in adverse weather conditions and to the effects of abiotic stress. This can include  boosting yields and crop quality, improvement in nutrient uptake, stimulating a plants own defense mechanisms and increasing a plants ability to withstand environmental stresses. The biostimulant industry has witnessed considerable growth in recent years and is expected to continue this momentum to reach $2.8 billion by 2021. Learn the value of the industry and gain a comprehensive insight into its key trends and developments alongside the development strategies of different biostimulants.

Led by an industry expert you will progress through this 4-week course alongside your peers. The flexibility of the online academy format means you can gain valuable information from anywhere in the world on why innovating greener methods for crop development serves as one of the most important food solutions across the globe.
